Bodlondeb Castle is steeped in history and is known locally as “Davies’ folly” after the man whom had it built at great expense and then never lived there! During its existence it has previously been a private house, school, First World War Military hospital, and hotel and since 1931 a Methodist holiday home.

The south wing, built in 1837 was once home to the Rt. Hon. William Hughes, the Prime Minister of Australia and tradition has it that the main wing was later commissioned by Edward the Prince of Wales (later Edward VII) for a certain ‘friend’.

The structure is of Scottish Baronial style and the interior contains several fine stained glass windows, together with many examples of Italian craftsmanship reflecting the baroque period, including a baronial hall, translucent marble pillars and gothic masonry

Designed to be the ultimate in style and comfort, this loft style apartment is entered via the magnificent entrance hall with original marble staircase.

Once inside the luxury holiday apartment the contemporary design and chic styling will not disappoint.
